Alien Bees Softbox on Elinchrom strobes

Until yesterday I actually wasnt aware that Alien Bees made sofboxes but I happen to spot a Paul C Buff branded softbox in Joey Lawrence's preview for his new video.

The softbox makes numerous appearances. I guess its an alien bee one by the Paul C Buff branding although I cant seem to confirm that.

Anyway i'm new to studio lighting stuff and I was wandering how you woul attach one of these to an Elinchrom light. On the alien bee website they only have a speedring for Alien Bee strobes. Can you just buy an elinchrom speedring from somewhere else? Are the hole patterns standard on speedrings?

That is interesting cause he is using them on Profoto lights someone must make an adaptor.

You can take any standard modifier (not the PCB foldable boxes) and mount them to something like a Photoflex speed ring with an Elinchrom mount and you're good to go.

It's as simple as that.
