Recently bought my first digital SLR camera and I can't put it down. Wife still loves to ask me how much I paid for a so-called "entry level" camera. :)

Yet another new forum I join, looks like I got a ton of reading to do!

Other big hobby is Motorcycles, have 5 of 'em in the family.

Welcome aboard! This is a great place to learn about photography. One word of advice: Hold on to your walet :)

I would love to see some of your photos with the camera. I was thinking of getting myself one sometime in the future.

Welcome... and yes it's an expensive, rewarding, and potentially paying hobby :)
Now let's see some pics of those bikes :P

Welcome aboard. When I got my first digital point and shoot, I managed to find this forum. It has been a huge source of quality information about digital photography for me.

You are right about having a lot to read. I think I spent a month or more reading before I every asked a question or made a comment on the open forums.

I hope you enjoy your new hobby as much as I do.

Welcome to the forum. Be sure to read the stickies at the top of each forum as they have a wealth of great photography info in them.

Know how to tell the difference between a photographer and a motorcyclist?

You don't end up donating organs when you drop the camera.

Thank you. bw!
