I agree with Damien 100%

IMO, go with the Genesis 200 two light kit now...that should leave you with about $150 after taxes (if you buy "in store", more if you buy on-line and avoid sales tax). Save another $50-$75 and get a Sekonic L-358 light meter (for used, another $100 for new)...you'll be amazing yourself in no time ;) You can always get a Genesis 400 (or two) down the road if you ever need to go outside or shoot large groups in large areas. The 200's and 400's work great together (same color balance and modifiers).

FYI...ebay has some decent softboxes at very good prices.

So, while trying to decide between purchasing one Genesis 200 or two the sale ended. Man, I'm bummed. I guess I'll sit a week or two and see if the price drops.

There will be another sale sooner or later. The one before this one was 20% off.

It's a lens not a lense!

you could have been like me and buy it a week before the sale. if you're impatient, you can order it from calumet's ebay sight. they usually have one of them with free shipping which is about $25 off

Good idea. I think I'll see what next week brings and then pull the trigger.
