Maybe I am just being a proud papa, but we let our 3 year old borrow the SD1100 at the farm and she took some actually good photos. I am impressed. So sorry if this is boring, but look what a 3 year old can do with a canon camera. I mean it is framed and focused properly - something my wife's sister can barely accomplish! :) WE have a camera on the shelf ready to give to her for her next b-day. Should be fun.

That's great.

My son is 9 and has started taking some good shots with my wifes point and shoot. This is one of the things I love about digital. You can let your kids take shots you never would have let them take with 35mm.

I think we need a new section in the forum for these types of shots to encourage the next generation.

Thanks for humoring me :). I know it is a ho-hum snapshot, but I was just excited to see she is actually concentrating on framing shots instead.

It is kind of cool you can just let your kids shoot unlimited shots on digital. I had a camera at 5 or 6, but my mom could only afford for me to take maybe 1 roll every couple months.
