Well, this weekend my mentor took me out on a hectic day. He had a really booked day with three shoots. Two one hour formals and last a wedding ceremony with formals. The day started with nice weather (and sun), then went to cloudy to rain.
The first couple was great to shoot, they were so fun and playful! The weather helped of course. I love this photo the most:

The second couple was a bit more "boring", maybe it was just the guy who was a bit stiff, but it didn't feel as fun as the first couple. Anyway, here they are:

The third couple was so unlucky, when the ceremony started (an outdoor wedding) it started to pour down rain. It was terrible. But it also did lighten up the situation a bit, people cuddled up together under umbrellas and it was a very happy event. The formals was a bit rushed since it was just pouring down (I think you can see the rain in this last picture).

Since I was the second shooter/assistant I really tried to stay out of the pro's way, but still got a few good pictures to put in a portfolio. It was a great day and I did learn a lot of things by looking at my own images. I was surprised to get as good results as I got, for being the first time. I think I'll be more prepared for my "solo" in july.
I'm definately doing this again!
