Just got the 70-200 IS and here are some from testing today..

I'm likin' it so far!! It makes me wonder when people call this a "SOFT" lens

thanks guys!!

I was REALLY concerned about the weight of this lens, but it has yet to be an issue!! I know it isn't as sharp as say a 135mm but i think the IS and 70-200 are more than enough for the trade in sharpness

Hi Eric, People are calling this a Soft lens? That's CRAZY! I've never heard that one. :rolleyes:
At any rate, I think your photos here would prove that statement wrong.
