PSP World Cup Paintball

Here are some pictures from the recent PSP Paintball World Cup in Polk City Florida that I shot on assignment for FaceFull Magazine. There were an amazing number of photographers at this event; I am always amazed at the growth of the number of people who are now shooting this difficult sport.

Do you shoot portrait orientation very often?

BTW. I found a Paintball Sports Magazine that featured an article about you. Gotta say you got one devoted follower from this point on. I love paintball and ever since I got into photography a month ago it's been a bit of a challenge. I am basically the only paintball photographer here (on Guam) but hopefully I can shoot for you at a tournament. What's the process to do that?

Thanks…not very often unless the magazine I am working for requests them. I just think paintball photographs look better in landscape mode..

Greetings Antonio, Yes there have been several articles written about me, I just I must be famous in the sport because I have been doing this longer and had more published than any other photographer in the sport. I am also I big fan of Russian Legion, in fact I am contracted with them as their official photographer for 2009 and just resigned for 2010. I know them all and they are really amazing to watch. Note my logo on their jersey.

I have just pre-ordered a 1DMIV which should be out around Christmas ... supposed to have better AF along with 60% more pixels ... I may have to coordinate up with you to try it out in PB!

Depends on the mask.............I use flexs. Lens is super close to my face.
