DPP for now, will most likely switch fully to LR when it fully supports the 7D (not in beta)

Raw Image Tool, DPP, Lightroom, ACR. Why do I have to choose?

As an amateur, I can't justify investing in LR. I just don't have that many shots to process. And DPP produces just as good of an output, if not better.

For simple adjustment & quick conversions to JPG, I use XNView. It's actually not bad with CR2 files.

LR for most shots but I do also use Capture One and DPP sometimes.

Why is ACR omitted from the list?

Mostly LR2 or DPP. Occasionally C1 or ACR.

So, using ACR with PS CS4/Bridge, I'm by default a disenfranchised voter and have to select "Other". This feels somewhat like the last U.S. presidential election! :(
