Liking the disco ball shots :)

Managed to have a play with the camera some more today. I had my 1Ds and a bag full of lenses in the trunk, but the S90 is so good (and versatile!) I couldn't be bothered with it...

Some great shots here - just ordered mine, so hopefully should get it in the next week or so...

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

aostling, take it for granted Canon produces no junk. S90 is an outstanding camera and the cormorant head pic u've posted is awesome and unthinkable with a point & shoot. I was contemplating such adventures but haven't yet implemented. Your image encourages me to go about it.

Although I use EOS 450D DSLR now however, I also have one SX110 IS P&S and my son produces great images with it. I plan to try out your technique with that. Needless to say, this P&S is also a powerhouse. Congrats for the Cormorant pic. Let jealous people burn their brains with jealousy, we hardly have time to watch that.

I forgot to post an HDR shot from an earlier shoot. It can do HDR pretty good depending on the subject and settings. I think this was +1 -1

Bump-a-lump!

Here's one from this evening - round the corner from my house. 15 seconds at f8. Stacked ND 4 and ND 8 handheld in front of the lens:

Must get some sort of filter attachment...

Another one of that motor in b&w this time:

And one of my boy shot at 800 ISO and blipped with flash, no noise reduction and sharpened to bring out the grain:

Well, got the S90, so best post an image...

IMAGE: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4053/4253728810_a75ee124a7_b.jpg

A co-worker, large window camera left (as can be seen in the reflection in the glasses).

I love this little thing, but it would be nigh on perfect if it had a hotshoe for my PW trigger... :-)

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)
