All I can say is WOW! Ben, you're going to force most of us to buy a 7d if you keep posting shots like these! All beautiful, but where's the pelicans?

Great series 2 and 3 are my favorites, #2 I like the action displayed in the shot, and #3 something peaceful and calming to me about it. just love it...Great shooting!!!

The detail was accomplish by both 7D and the 400mm f5.6 lens. Thanks for your comments.

Yes, you're right. Usually around late March! I should follow up on them in the near future if there will be any nests.
