Bokeh refers to the quality of the background blur and in your example, the OOF highlights have a distinctive 5-sided look (from the shutter blades) that seem distracting. When you get into the L lenses, you notice that these highlights blend in smoother with the background and appear almost perfectly round with a soft-edge.........that said, your shot does look good. What kind of flower?

The diaphram blades (producing aperture) might. ---Bob Gross--- You are correct Bob!! Sorry..........blades from the diaphragm produce the edged look that you can see in OOF highlights. I gladly stand corrected!
