Fantastic! Just love the little guys too much! Especially #4. What a smile and having fun in the truest sense.

My favorite for boys that age is wearing the glove on the head as a hat ... when playing FIRST BASE!!!

Brilliant work Matt! What kind of response have you gotten from the parents? Also, which body are you using?

Again thanks!

I was using a Mark III , I have gotten more feedback from parents than usual, well see if thats turns into larger sales. I got the 400 mainly for football and soccer but it will be hard to put anything else on my camera with these type of results.

No kidding. You're probably one of the only people who bring a 400 to a t-ball game. Again, great work, Matt.

Nice shots.

Did the parents/fans think you had a 'weapon' out there? :-)

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

I've been a member of P.O.T.N. for about a year and a half, but have never posted until now. I
just read and read and read. And thanks to many of y'all from various forums on P.O.T.N., I have learned a lot.

But I had to comment on these photos. Wow. Fantastic job!

I am beginning to take pictures for my son's HS baseball team and have been designated the "team photographer" by the coaching staff and parents. So I'm learning (currently) in fall ball so I can hopefully be ready by spring.

I came to the sports forum to look at some baseball threads and saw this one. I'm this close (thumb and index finger almost touching) to getting a 100-400 IS USM (my first L).

Any comments on this lens for baseball?

Again, excellent photos!

Andy

Ive had and sold the 100-400 and IMO its not impressive and not worth the $$ . Yes I have seen some fantastic shots with the lens but the quality was not anything near a prime .. If I was just starting again I would go for the 300 f/4 and work towards the 2.8

Okay, will take under serious consideration and I really appreciate your advice. I need all I can get.:)
