#1 is good...I kind of like to see the hole in putting shots as well. Maybe work a different angle?

#2 does nothing for me. It doesn't tell me a story of the day. Cropped out his feet, you missed the peak action and the sign in the background is very annoying....

I am sure you have others that tell more of a story of the day?

yeah it would have been better i was under a very low branch at the tourney and kept smacking my head every time i tried to stretch.. it was also an uphill put that kind of hid the hole a bit too.
thanks.

great thing about practice rounds, and as long as your not shooting in a back swing your ok.. having a long lens to be far away doesn't hurt either.

#1 is very nice.
#2 is a sharp picture.

Being an avid golfer, i love golf photography.
Most of the time good golf pics are:
- Like #1 staring down the putt
- Reactions from golfers and/or crowds
- Weird stances, etc. (like the Tiger cover last year breaking his shaft against that tree at The Masters)
- Good action pictures during the swing

I'd love to do golf photography, but I have to take a plane (or Eurostar) to get to the nearest decent tournament on the European Tour.

If this was a practice round, you don't have to be "Media" to bring a camera...

dont have to be media to bring a camera but you do have to be media to get inside the ropes. it was a really great day! walk almost anywhere you wanted just cause they saw you carrying a big camera...
