That's what I'm afraid of Julian. Been eyeing this lens for awhile.

If you like shooting landscapes, this is one lens I highly recommend. :)

Yep, a tunnel with 1.2Km and we had to walk on top of that edge for 300 meters.

Hope you guys are happy - this thread is responsible for me dumping every piece of gear I own in order to pick up this lens, a 5Dc, and a 28-75.

Having said that, Im going to keep my eyes out for a used one before I buy new one...hopefully one will come up in the next week or so, we'll see how long I can hold out. If you've got one you need to part with, let me know!

Went to Griffth Observatory tonight to test out this lens. Still learning the nuances of it:

Ken nice shots...crop #3 slightly to make it symmetrical and I think you have a winner. The sky in #2 is gorgeous!

Great shots Ken.

I don't own one, but the colors produced by this lens, as can be seen throughout this thread are great.

#2 is awesome.

Thanks Ash,

The colors produce by this lens are definitely unique. Something that I don't get from my other lenses. You can see the difference just viewing the scene through live view. Was amazed seeing it for the first time.
