Thanks everyone. I tried color but it does not create the surreal feel you get from a BW version. The color one would have the ocean blue reflects too much light.

I own both and the flexibility of the 16-35 is handy when you need to go wider.

It was a very stormy day today, but the wind was blowing and I decided to give it a shot.
Sometimes we get lucky to catch a short (a few minutes!) break :)
Those are California Poppies, ProPhoto RGB as always, so please use
a browser with color management.

Love that color contrast and it looks like you found some nice fields to shoot. The light was amazing here as well and I shot most of the day. Sure to be something to post here in the next day or two. You print more dramatically than most and it's interesting the influence it's having.
