Ok, I had the night off from officiating so I could attend Youth Football Night at the varsity game. I was there shooting the youth activities and stayed around for the first half of the varsity action. Here are a few shots. These were w/ the MkIIn and 70-200 2.8 IS. I did not have any flash so these were available light. These were run through Noiseware. EXIF data isn't intact, but is somewhere in the neighborhood of:

iso: 1600-3200
Tv: 1/400th-1/640th
Av: f/2.8

To bad you did not use flash these might have been more crisp with no motion blur?

I'm happy w/ the minimal motion blur. Having seen what the paper printed and the other shots the newspaper guy got, I am ecstatic about these. I'm giving some of these to the head coach. He and I played football together since we were in 3rd grade. He's one of the only people who still calls me by my nickname.

#4 actually looks a bit soft the more I look at it. Still content. I'll have to print it to see how it comes out on paper.
