Well I bought a Powershot S70 and an underwater case; I needed to try them out so I went to the Maldives. Not sure if I will continue with this form of photography, you need to concentrate so much on taking the photograph that you miss out on quite a bit that is going on around you. The slow focussing speed and the shutter lag on the S70 made this a real pain. My first result were awful, I appreciate that these are little better but you will be amazed how different taking pictures whilst diving is to taking them on land. I felt like a fish out of water (shocking pun, but I have been on a 12 hour flight)

I did not noticed that you are from UK. Being so, you know exactly what is a dive with low vis and cold water much better than me. Up there can be really hard.
