From the Atlanta Craigslist:

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/pho/1427965361.html (external link)

It's doubtful that such a low tech thief (smash & grab), would try and sell the stuff on this forum - but just in case any of the Georgia POTN'ers come across this stuff it sounds like the owner is anxious to get it back.

Mods - feel free to move this if it should go in another forum.

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your gear. Why is the reward so high? Important pics on the memory cards?

That would be my guess, the pics might have been a paid gig.

That sucks. Hope you get it back and have insurance. I guess I'm correct in being paranoid about leaving all my gear in the car.

Hmmm.. $3000 reward for maybe $1800~$2000 worth of gear?

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Just to be clear - it was not my gear, I just saw the post on Craigslist during my morning surf for overpriced used gear!

The reward leads me to believe that there was something of much greater value in the bag. Possibly the photos themselves?

The plot thickens!

What if there were pictures of a political assassination?

I liked that movie!

Robert Clayton Dean: What the hell is happening?
Brill: I blew up the building.
Robert Clayton Dean: Why?
Brill: Because you made a phone call.
