queenbee- I clicked on the link you gave, then right clicked on the photo. I clicked on "properties" and copied the link line that stated it was a larger photo.

Then, I pasted that to a link here.

I like the photo! For me, I think I would fade out the background to emphasize the grandmother's lines a little more. Her hair seems to blend in with the dark background. I like the difference of ages and I would do more to emphasize that. Just my "newbie" thoughts....

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. They are very encouraging to a newbie like me. Dawn, I agree about the hair blending into the background too much. I guess I will have to ask Norma (grandmother) to stop dying her hair so I can get more contrast in my pictures! LOL
