Seeing as I bought a 24-70mm F2.8 at the weekend, I thought today would be a good time to go and take some duck photos at the local watering hole. All taken at ISO 100.

First up we have a normal plain mallard, f/4 1/640 @70mm

Secondly , a Swan having just had a drink, f/4 1/400 @68

Thirdly , a male mallard giving me _that_ look f/8 1/80@70mm

And lastly, a female having a good old shake, f/8 1/80@70mm

I seem to have lost a lot of sharpness in the export.

Did you add any unsharp mask after resizing them

Art that takes you there. http://www.artyman.co.uk (external link)

nope, aperture doesn't seem to have 'resize this image and let me continue to make adjustments' without throwing it out of aperture and re-importing it.[1]

I have managed to use borderfx to do this though.

[1] there might be a plugin but I've not looked for one to be honest.
