It's too soon, to NOT tell anyone!
I'm waiting for the Fall rebates (should be here tomorrow :D) to order my new 5D Mark II, 70-200 2.8 IS, and then just to top it all off; Manfrotto 488RC2 and 055XPROB!

Come-on Canon, announce the rebates!! I want my toys!! :D

Anyway, I just HAD to brag ;)

sounds like a Brinks Truck crashed into your house or something! That's a lot of cash to drop on new gear. Yes, I'm jealous! Enjoy when it comes.

Nah... No Brinks Truck, just 1 year of buying nothing "extra" and eating nothing (literally)

There is a current combo-rebate on canon's website. 5D Mk2 + qualifying lens gets you like $50 I think. No big whoop.

Really? Hmmm...

I'll also be doing their $50 mail-in rebate, the Canon Loyalty one (I registered my 40D about a year ago, so I qualify).

More proof that it's not the tools, but the person using them?
