I just don't know what to say about the background. It had to be a 2.0 lens or something. Oh wow.

Sounders in Tx?? Our plan for the domination of US soccer seems to be on track, (US Open Cup win, made the MLS playoffs, record attendances, etc.) :)

Another set where the 400 gives those great backgrounds. Only very minor issue would be the orange flag coming out of the shoulder in the first one that's a bit distracting, but a great job again Matt.

Thanks for the comments...

Sounders in Tx??

This is actually my sons team and we got tired of crappy uniforms and always having the issue of the same color of other teams ..... so we went online and found some cool jerseys the boys could use that were unique. The Sounders was what they wanted.

Good stuff Matt. Might be me but the first looks like there may have been a tiny bit of movement based on the background. The rest are rock solid. The second is just fantastic! Love the last as well, looks like something you'd see overseas!

Love the super clean backgrounds. That is so tough to find especially at youth soccer.

Thanks Scott, Dan and Kevin.

As mentioned in my T-ball thread the 400 seams like an overkill for youth sports but with the backgrounds I have to deal with it sure is a good way to help with that problem.

It also kept everyone out of my line of sight and had MANY more parents asking for my cards. I feel strogly that perceived value is a BIG part of a photography business (especially for youth sports) and this seems to be helping out well.

Excellent color and separation. I'm so jealous of that 400 f/2.8. Were they all taken wide open?
