Umm...what makes you say that?!?

Well there's a bunch of rumor threads but I don't see one in the actual photo industry news forum yet. There's "CHECK BACK TONIGHT" but that's it.

Indeed, i almost did it...

looks to be a good camera, its lacking the AF modes of the 7D [But i guess it doesnt NEED them like the 7D does because it has 45 freaking points..]

Now i wonder, how much a 1D Mark III is gonna be worth in a few weeks

I'm sure there will be a bit of a nosedive pretty soon. People will be snatching the 1D3s up pretty quickly.

It equals US$7,400, I think I might get it in the US and have a holiday at the same time

Probably not a bad idea, just beware of customs. They can be a pain.

there are no customs once your camera is out of the box been there, done that. lol.

EDIT: you might just get a weird look from everyone around you when your carrying 6 laptops, 5 cameras, 2 xboxes and a playstation onto a flight. lol.

In a relatively short time, they will be on the shelves in Russia, and St-Petersburg is very close to Finland, a bit of driving and there you are=)

It's really not that bad, as soon as It's your gear and it's in the backpack, lens attached, battery and cards in.
Never had any trouble with the customs, even with the Russian ones, and those had proven to be the worst pain in the #@$ of all customs I've ever seen.
