Anything...

Golly, I hope I can find something as good as that as my evidence.

...is better than your anecdotical rebuttals/discomfort.

But... WAIT! There's more: :D (and this is with an ancient, no longer support firmware on the 1D3...)

We are talking about the camera right Matt?;)

Yeah, what's worse, I have a 24-70L and 70-200L f2.8 IS sitting here waiting to be mounted and used on the MKIV.

But by the time I get out of the office, it will be dark outside.:(

No A/C adapter any more?

I shot some hockey this weekend and have to say this camera is spot on so far. Subjects coming toward me were no problem at all. And the performance is so good as far as iso is concerned I am now able to pull my 2xTC out of storage and actually put it to good use.

You're nothing if not predictable....

It's hilarious that after all this time, even with this very forum filled with 1D3 shooters sick of the AF issues, you still refuse to accept it. Go and find me Nikon forums filled with 50+ page threads about the dreadful D3 AF problems. In fact I'll save you the time as you won't find them. 3 words for you:

It.

Just.

Works.

And with that you're back on my ignore list.

Bon Voyage indeed.

You need to remember PIX wears those big 60:s style rose tinted glasses, with the optional mammoth blinkers with Canon logos on the sides. He has "1D Mark III" tattooed in a secret spot. I heard he named his firstborn "Digic the third".

Given all that I actually think he's admirably moderate in his posts. Really. :)
