I sent them an email when I lost the drivers to my XTi and they shipped a CD to me for free.

Try HERE (external link). Problem is there are no Windows 7 drivers. It's a little too new...

Well, it's compatible per MS's page here (external link)...
Link to drivers takes you to Canon's page here (external link) (Vista should work in place of an official "Win 7" driver)...

Trouble is there doesn't seem to be a 64-bit version (maybe the 32-bit is sufficient for EOS util, etc.)...

And one more thing, if you're looking for the original installs, read here (external link)...
Once that's complete, then you should be able to download/install the software updates from the 5D page @Canon...

You specifically mentioned drivers in your thread title. The drivers are there. All you need to do is select your operating system...

Trust me Monty...ever since the new build incl. Windows 7 64-bit, Google has been a good friend :) (although I have to hand it to this OS...not as many issues as I had expected)

Thanks mate! Made my day :)

I know i mentioned drivers, it feels logical to me that you need a driver to get your camera to appear in explorer...Not software..

Anyways, thanks!

"My mother threw out my canon 5d mark 1 CD's after i moved"

Your mother trying to make a point? If you'd moved out, why where the CD's still at home? Should be already on you PC.
