My second photo-shoot with Courtny who is attracting interest from a lifestyle magazine looking for models. Off camera flash and a reflector were used.

nice composition, beautiful model, good idea for location...
needs better lighting. the softness maybe from compression which is very noticeable on the red dress.
try exporting them without too much jpg compression.

compression just ate all the pictures...from PS go save for web - jpeg on 80 quality...

I don't know if they under exposed as much as the model is very tanned which doesn't work well with white clothing since digital has little room in the highlights to expose for darks well while maintaining detail in the highlights like negative film can. This is really illustrated in the b+w conversions with her dark skin that turns darker in greyscale and the bright white jacket.

I think #3 is the best of your bunch. The elbow is a tad tight but I could live with it. She has a good looking face and your poses look fine. There's something about the PP on the other shots that look off. I agree with the others, the exposures look a little low. Add a little more light & your there.
