Do any of you subscribe to a certain photography magazine, and if so...why?

Rangefinder and aftercapture here as well.

But I also get Popular photography and Shutterbug. But only because I got lucky and found a limited link and got the subscriptions so cheap. I think it was like $12 for a year for both.

However the mags I really like are all UK mags. I dont subscribe as they offer no discount for the subscription so I just get them every month at Boarders.

I don't subsribe to much anymore. I get Photoshop User (via NAPP membership), PDN and a couple of others that come from membership in professional organizations. I will counter buy ones that seem like they have a story that would interest me.

This is a question that comes up fairly often. A few older threads....

I used to have a subscription to Digital Photo magazine (expired this month). I had read it for about 9 months prior to the subscription but i have found that a lot of the subject matter is repeated on a fairly regular basis.

One thing i did like though was the subscription gift- i ended up getting a fairly nice Kata camera bag (with waterproof cover) thrown in at no cost. Given the bag would normally be £40-50 (based on other Kata bags), i reckoned it was a great deal as the subscription only cost £60.

I get Aftercapture and Rangefinder both for free.

I find Aftercapture a boring publication most issues and Rangefinder to have decently written indepth articles with good photos in it

I subscribed to a few in the beginning, but let the subscriptions expire when I wasn't getting enough new information anymore. The only ones I still get, and find useful, are Photoshop User and Layers as a member of NAPP. These are post processing magazines though, not photography per se.

I got a really cheap offer on Outdoor Photographer - something like $4 for a year.

Waste of money. Every issue is just like the last.

The problem with most photography magazines is that the content repeats over and over and over. In the beginning I subscribed to Popular Photography, Photographic, and Shutterbug when it was in it's large newsprint format. I let those go when they started getting repetitious and became more and more of a shill for the manufacturers. I currently subscribe to Outdoor Photographer but even that is getting read less and less and I'm considering not renewing when it runs out.
