I've been trying to venture from hobby photographer to making some money, and I figure my flickr photostream might not be the best showcase for my past works.

I signed up for a smugmug trial account

is this a good start to show to potential clients? of course i will be adding plenty to it.

It is OK but what does it look like on an iPhone? You may laugh off the iPhone concept but every one of my clients (ok at least 90%) have an iPhone and use it to routinely browse the web. A flash based gallery will lock you out of all those clients.

Also what the heck is "static motion"? Your photography is very good. No need to trump it up with crazy words. Just call it Landscapes or Nature.

I would recommend Exposure Manager. No flash. Looks great on iPhone. Can easily be setup so the Exposure Manager brand is invisible to your clients. See mine.

Reduce the "updated Oct. 21 2009 19:58 PST" to something like "Last: Oct 21.09"
