First time woodpecker :D

Well, I like taking small hikes through the forest and dunes here nearby and I always here these little fella's but never had a chance to capture one....up until now.

I don't have a very long lens so i had to do it with my 18-200mm canon lens but here is the outcome, nice little birds:

Woodpeckers forced me to get a longer lens...they will do the same to you...heh..heh. Nice capture! Have you an I.D. on it?

Had to go to Wikipedia for this, but its a "Grote Bonte Specht" (Dendrocopos major)

And about that longer lens...I am afraid that there will come one soon:cool:
