I recently got interested in photography but a this point know very little about it.

I bought a new Rebel XSi 450D in a 4 lens kit with all the extras.
Since I had nothing I thought buying the better kit would be a better deal

I have bought several items on E-Bay and some of these were estate sales and the lens that I wanted came with a camera.

I wound up with 3 film cameras's but I got the package at less than what the lens are worth so if I threw the camera's away I'm OK with that but I think I will keep one and put the others back on E-Bay.

Assuming that all are in good working order witch of these camera's would be the best, Below is a list of the camera's that I have.

Canon 35mm SLR-EOS

Canon EOS 620

Canon EOS Elan II

The amount of time and effort you would invest in film photography from scratch would have given you extra returns if you invested that in digital.

Lot of feedback in film photography is not as instantaneous as it is in digital - considering the bodies you mentioned. Probably the ElanII is worth keeping if you are still bent into film cameras.

I have an Elan II that I shoot 35mm with from time to time. It's a good solid body and would be pick to keep out of those three.

I have a newbie forum suggestion:

Don't type your thread titles in Caps. This isn't eBay.

Welcome.

All-caps is considered SHOUTING on forums. The suggestion was valid.

Testy testy. If I didn't say it someone would have. It's not my opinion, it is forum etiquette.

And FYI, my suggestion had nothing to do with grammar. If I am golfing and I ask someone not to stand behind me when I putt, I am not giving them a golf lesson.

It's not about grammar (I'm sure my grammar is appalling sometimes - I know my spelling can be), it's about netiquette: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netiquette (external link)

Do you walk in a room and start shouting instead of talking in a normal volume? Of course not, that would be weird and totally break the rules of social etiquette (unless you have Tourette's or something!). Using all caps on a forum is the same principle.

I ask a question and after 249 views only 8 posts and out of those only 2 actually address my question.
I guess if you don't know anything about photography instead of passing you just criticize but that is ok I posted on another forum and surprise their were people that actually knew something about camera's
This forum is great 2 out of 249 had some idea of what the answer to my question was.

I am quite sure that your nasty response to someone who was simply trying to inform you about forum etiquette was the reason why you see the results you have seen here.

These forums are actually quite good and normally one can learn quite a lot about photography (and often a lot more) here.

I think you'll find that percentage is probably reasonably indicative of the digital/film user ratio here. Most people (like me) would have opened your thread, realised I can't contribute anything regard the cameras you listed, and clicked away.

Don't take it personally.

Let me ask you this...have you responded to every single thread you've opened?

Well if you didn't post in all caps at the other forum and therefore also didn't get snippy when someone asks you not to, it's unstandable people would be more receptive.

Yeah, great attitude. Real way to win friends, as you might have noticed.
The thing about film bodies...they're cheap, and there are a lot of different kinds of film. If I were you, I'd load true black and white film into one, C-41 (colour negative) film into another, and either slide or a different ISO of either of those two into the third.
