I hope this is the right place to ask this

I want to upgrade to the 7D but am a little lost as what to ask for my 40D
It has 2038 clicks on it, blank warranty card, the box and all the stuff that came with it, aftermarket grip, 1 canon battery and 2 aftermarket batteries

if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

YOu might want to peruse the For Sale section of POTN. You will find other 40D's with similar stuff and you should be able to get an idea from there. Good Luck! (I may be following your lead soon...)

Go to the Sell Forum, click the "Search this Forum" tab on the right side and type in "40D".

Results will be all the ads for 40D's in chronological order. Threads that are locked are most likely sold. Review the sales and activity for each thread. Time stamps of the posts will tell you how quickly the deal closed. Compare the length of time with the price and find a range that you are comfortable with. Price aggressively if you want a fast sale, price higher if you the sale is not as urgent.

Sale templates are located here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=681676 This will allow you to include most of the commonly asked questions in your first post and help keep you from answering the same questions over and over.

Hope this helps

Good luck!

I believe that $675 price does not include the grip. I assumed he was selling the package and, thus, still think $700+ is reasonable. Also, 2000 clicks is on the low end!

My 40D sold for $758.00 on Ebay.

But the seller left this:
Item as described. Fast shipping, even though it cost more than it should have.

LOL!! Buyers remorse?

I think he meant the shipping charges were too high?

Oh, that could be. I charged $75.00 to ship to NW Canada. You would think I made bank on the shipping but I really didn't. Its expensive to ship internationally. I think it was close to $75.00.....
