Fantastic - boy, the good old days. I still like to ride trails on my cross bike though - hope you don't mind my sharing a test of off camera flash I did last year in VF Park - I coincidentally came across this shot while checking out your thread. Not technically too wonderful, but tons of fun.

Check this out, this is fantastic. My friend and colleague has the same shot, but from the opposite direction. In my shot, he's in the upper left corner shooting the photo/In his shot I'm in the upper right shooting the photo. He's a Nikon shooter- he's using a D300 with a Nikkor 300mm prime. Note how his 300 prime is a hell of a lot sharper than my 70-200L. Man I wish I had a 300L to go along with my Mark III. Someday, LOL.

Now that's 'cross. Yuck!

Why is it that now, during the week, it's raining cats and dogs, but for Sunday's 'cross race it's going to be warm and sunny and I have to paint! Not fair - boooo.
