'Turning the clocks back': Ideas/Help

Hey,

For one of my current photo projects I need to make an image which fits the brief 'turning the clocks back'. The idea I had was to photograph a clock face with a slow shutter speed showing the hands going around the wrong way, effectively blurring backwards. Does anybody have any idea how it could be possible to do this?

Any help would be great!

Take the shot with the hands going clockwise and then flip it horizontally. I'm pretty certain that'll give you what you're looking for : )

Take a still shot and use motion blur in Photoshop.

In a dark room use a very long shutter speed with a flash on first curtain sync. The hands will be frozen at the starting position and blurred to a latter position, making it seem as if they're going "backwards." Of course the clock would need to be going much faster than normal...

I know this is over already, but taking an image of the clock hand at a certain point, and as many other points that you want to show, then stack them later in PS.
