Hi Win - yes, I agree that the clearbags are certainly much..... clearer
. We see them a lot locally at fairs and exhibits, typically with matted photos being displayed on tables or bins.
I had considered using them for presentation as they hardly degrade the image at all - making sure you don't see glare from the shiny surface - but I don't know of any way to keep them organizied in a compact portfolio book like the Itoya. And with no support, there is always the hazard of creasing and bending
It certainly is a trade off. The Itoya pages do have that non-glare (less clear) surface, but your prints will be well protected in those books.
That doesn't sound good!
I think the clarity is fine. I do most of my prints on Metallic paper and the sleeve does degrade the image a bit. I usually end up sliding out any that people show interest in. The Clearbags are thinner and there is a lot less "degrading".

That's ok. I had to order some printer paper in the same shipment which they don't carry.
