I shot in a junior high gym tonight and had to go to ISO 6400 to get f/2.8 at 1/500. I could have backed down to 3200 at 1/400 sec and maybe open the lens (135L f/2) a tad but I just stuck with what I had. More experimenting, I guess.

Oct 23, 2009 08:47 | #10 Thanks for the tips! I been trying to shoot more in manual than AV recently and have found my exposures to be better. I'll be putting the Neat Image on the new pc shortly. What I found tough at this age was determining where the serve would go and then trying to get a quick focus and meter and still get the ball... ***************

Tough for me also. So, sometimes I focus on one player and take my chances. sometimes it comes their way, sometimes not.
