I agree with Bob about the need for a foreground object of interest -- something between the viewer and the yellow steep grade sign at the first bend -- like a moose crossing the road or a hiker as Bob suggested. The sky is flat in terms of visual interest. I view the road as the subject and agree that a few bicyclists, a hiker, or some other additional subject on the road would continue to build interest.
