Nice shot.
IMHO good lighting, good composition and good detail. However I feel that maybe the focus is a bit off perhaps, it doesn't appear to be on the eye. Also the compression of the image is visible (that may be due to the image hosting website.)
These are my thoughts.

What is IMHO?

THANKS!=]

I agree on the focus part... It is so hard!

I think the compression is because of the image hosting site... looks better in Raw.

I think it is a bit of a halfway house, not quite close enough and yet not showing the whole bird. I just get the feeling of being too cramped.

I agree on the slightly out of focus part. IMHO use to mean in my honest opinion, but that may be a local thing.

I also see some green in her head feathers, like a male has. I wonder what that's about? :)

Next time try for a lower angle, back up a couple of steps so it's not so tight, and try to focus on the eye. You may want to try lying down and remaining still, then wait for the subject to be in the right position, head angle, etc. A little cracked corn might help as well. Good Luck!
