30D or 3D?

There are some rumors that Canon will have a new DSLR released this year. Will it be based in EOS 3 or EOS 30 body in design?

Any new feature or wish list for this new camera?

I've heard about a 12.8MP 5D, don't have any other specs yet.

It would likely not be called 30D, whatever kind of camera it turns out to be, because such a thing is too close to being called D30.

AND, if you do a search, you will find a complete thread on what people are wishing for in a new camera from Canon that would bridge the 20D to 1DMII gap. There are even several threads on the progression of the line of cameras released by Canon and their apparent timeframe.
In reality, until there is a real camera out there, all these rumors are just that, rumors....
