it is listed but when you click on it it says "requested file not found"

It is available under the powershot g11 camera but states-

To Users of the EOS DIGITAL/PowerShot G10/PowerShot SX1 IS(RAW model) camera:
Users of the following digital cameras are asked to use the Digital Photo Professional software to install ZoomBrowse EX 6.4.1.
The latest version of Digital Photo Professional can be downloaded separately.
Users of the digital SLR camera are asked to use EOS Utility at the same time.
The latest version of EOS Utility can be downloaded separately.

So we are supposed to download via DPP????? I did not know this was possible...

Sounds like there was a translation error somewhere. DPP does not install software.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point..
