Check out those reflections....!!? EOS 1D mk II, 70-200IS, ISO 100, IS ON, 100% crop

I don't see a problem, I just see a strong reflection of sunlight. When you took the camera away from your eye, could you see the reflection?

Yes, the reflection is of course visible without camera/lens, not Star Wars purple though.... I've never noticed this before on any other lens, at least not as obvious as this... I know chromatic aberrations/dispersion comes in different forms, has anybody seen this as bad as this example on the 70-200 f/2.8 IS?
