When you took the camera away from your eye, could you see the reflection? Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.

Yes, the reflection is of course visible without camera/lens, not Star Wars purple though.... I've never noticed this before on any other lens, at least not as obvious as this... I know chromatic aberrations/dispersion comes in different forms, has anybody seen this as bad as this example on the 70-200 f/2.8 IS?
