This is my first post on this website. This is mittens hunting some birds this was taken in a screened in porch thus the lines in the bokeh. This was taken with the 55-250IS lens at 123mm. I'd like some pointers/comments. No PP done.

Ah OK, i WAS wondering what the "lines" were. They are SLIGHTLY distracting but your eyes are drawn directly to the cat so they are not a BIG issue.

Fantastic focus on the eye/face.I cant help but feel that some focus is lost on the whiskers though.

Really nice photo.

Nice shot, and welcome to the forum!

I would have liked to see more of Mittens' face, but perhaps she would have been distracted if you had changed positions. Also, it looks to me like the black patch of fur on her cheek and back is underexposed, and therefore lacking detail.

Beautiful cat, by the way. :)
