This is one of our towns landmarks.

I like the shot.
The sky is a little light for my taste. With that much sky showing I feel it needs to be a bit more dramatic. I used shadows highlights and a bit of burning. Hope you don't mind.

I really like this shot and adding shadow and highlights made it even better!

Thank you very much for the edit. I don't mind at all. I love seeing what other people envision. I don't know why but when I was editing the photo I kept going back to the light "heavenly look". If you don't mind could you tell me exactly how you achieved the look in your edit?

I use PSE 5 to edit. I used the shadows and highlight tool to darken the highlights. After that I created a new layer and changed the blending mode to overlay and filed with 50% grey. On that layer I selected a soft brush and used a size that would cover the sky area. Decrease the opacity to around 25% and make sure black is the color selected ( black will darken, burn, and white will lighten, dodge).
I use this because PSE 5 doesn't have a good dodge a burn tool and this gives me more control.

I agree -- it's a great view, and great shot, and it's fun to see what it looks like spiced up. Such as... (Spicify filter in Topaz Adjust 3 or double filter in the second one)
