This was the night before his deployment. Got some nice candids of him and his sister (1) and also with his girlfriend (2)... Thought it would be nice to share the love our troops are leaving behind to go fight for. We are praying for your safe return Charles.

Much better!!

It reminds me of a time in my own life long ago. The only difference----my girlfriend was actually my bride of 3 days. There is no feeling like it.

The homecomings are pretty nice, though. ;)

Nice shots. We wish him well.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Nice shots. The second one is very moving, especially with the slight tears in his eyes. :( I wish him well and hope he returns safely. 8)

Thank you... I like the second too cause of how intertwined the two are and how comforted they seem in each others embrace... I will convey all these messages to Charles once he emails me his new address... thank you for stopping by :D

You've captured a bit of Americana. It's unfortunate that it happens so often. Good shots. My only other comment is that he looks way too young to be going anywhere except the prom.

He'll be in my prayers.
