Hey!

I've been shopping around for a new 5D Mark II (Yay!), and came across Cameta.
I read resellerratings.com and did some searches on the forums, and have found MOSTLY positive stuff. I just would like to be 100% secure in using them! (I am asking because Bing offers a very nice cash-back offer, when buying from them)

Thanks!

Cameta is a smallish store--a local store that does internet business--but they've been around since 'way before the Internet and has always been known as a good place for used equipment even in the mail order days.

I bought a lens from them last year, with no problems at all. Fast shipping, well packed, and a good price.

I've purchased a lot of equipment from them including several Nikon bodies. Never had a problem, and everything has shipped by the second business day. Right now if you go through Bing you can get 5% cashback on that 5D2.

I have purchased from them via ebay and directly through the website, both times they were perfect.

I purchased lenses from them back in the 80's through their ads in shutterbug magazine.

I buy from their brick and mortar store. Very reliable and honest.

Nothing wise or clever to enlighten you with!

I have to make a trip to the west coast Saturday on very short notice. I ordered a EF 50 f/1.4 from them with next day delivery. They have already shipped the lens and I will have it tomorrow.

I will echo what everyone is saying -- they are a good and safe retailer. I bought many used lens from them as far back a 10 years ago. They always shipped fast and delivered (used) product that met or exceeded what they claimed. You should have no worries ordering from them.
