Got my new lens...135mm/2.0L today and shortly after, my neice came in from Michigan for a visit. She was horsing around with my dog but looked up for a minute and I snapped this....

Nice photo.
Wow, that is one sweet lens.
Good detail. Color tones, saturation, all that stuff right on the money.

Maureen, with all your talent, such a magnificent lens, and such cute model, I know you can do MUCH better :) (Although still a very cute shot)
But, I know this was just a snapshot with a flash, so I will forgive you. ;)
Now get yourself and your neice out in some good light, and take some more pictures, preferabley wide open, and your drop will drop when you see what this lens can produce. Then get back in here and post some more! :)

Agree, pop up flash and in Portrait mode do no justice that fine lens:o
