The bird, I am not that knowledgeable, I took the shot in Galveston, TX... The food looks like someone's chicken or rib bones... Do you like the photo? =]

I think your camera focused on the ribs, but so did the bird. Did he eat any of it? :)

Wow, that's surprising. Well, maybe not, they eat worms and clams they find in the sand, so they are meat eaters. I never thought they might like a chicken sandwich too. :)

He looks like some kind of Plover or Sand Piper.

I think a Plover... It moved a whole lot though! I wish they would just stop, pose, let me take the photo, then eat =] Maybe my wish will be granted one day, lol... Then you will see the perfect shot on POTN :)
