You know in the movies where they finally discover where the stalker lives and they go into that secret room in his house and the walls are completely covered with images of his obsession?

I still need to process my airshow pics....

I need to get out to an airshow. I picked up my 100-400 a couple years back just for airshows and have yet to go to one. :)

I saw at least one guy who must have had a 400 f/2.8. The lens was rather large. Biggest I've seen in person. Though the C-130 had my 70-200 + 1.4xTC zoomed to the wide end, he probably got a nice shot of a wing or something

I should save my pennies for a dust-trombone.

I love my dust trombone not that bodies are able to microfocus adjust. :)

For some reason this doesn't look all that safe to me. =/

If it was built to the original specs, it's fine. The DR 1 was one of the most structurally sound aircraft of the First World War.

You move down here and we can go next year. There are several in the Southern California area that are easy to get to...

Check out the photos by Victor Archer (POTN Member Marauder61) He handholds a 500mm f4 at airshows...

My 100-400 is so full of dust it's not funny and I continue to use it with no problems.
