I'd have a pair of S5IS's and have to resort to shooting weddings and bar mitzvahs to pay them off!

I've been aggressively culling my pics for some time now. Right now I'm sitting at 277gig of images and I've probably dumped at least 1/2 of them by now. I never shoot a lot of pictures at once but try to get out at least every other day to take a few. Got tons of failed experiments like this one.
QUOTED IMAGE

You call that a failed experiment? That's totally freaking awesome!

Hi Pea, did you guys eat your peasants? They had an Iron Chef last night with peasants.

cfpackerfan wrote in post #8944703 (external link)
Or pheasants, even.

short5 wrote in post #8944744 (external link)
It is more fun to call them peasants, especially when referring to them in a recipe.

cfpackerfan wrote in post #8944759 (external link)
Peasants under glass. I have a lot of mental pictures on that one.

This certainly got my day off on a good ROTFLOL start. Thanks.

potato thoughts:

We make potato skins fairly regularly.

Bake whole potatoes.
When done, cut in half, and scoop most of the innards out of each half.

Place halves on cookie sheet, and fill with cheese, crumbled cooked bacon, and green onions. Oh, and lots of cheese.

Did I mention the cheese?

While those are baking in the oven, take all the innards, and mash them with a fork. Add all the leftover bacon and green onions from the skins, and mix well. Oh, and put in some cheese.
Maybe a lot of cheese.
And a little butter.
And maybe some sour cream. Could use some salt and pepper too.

Bake the skins till nice and crispy.

Serve the innards like mashed taters.

HOLY YUM.

Sounds really good, have you tried adding cheese?:p

Anyway, Hale really isn't smart. She's functional though but on a minor intelligence scale. She does try to please & she's as sweet as can be. Kona on the other hand is like having a fun, cuddly, playful, sentient being...who adores you. I can't imagine not having him. I'm so glad we persevered.

Me too and it will only get better.

G'MAE all. Love waking up to the smiles and laughter, great way to start the day.

Beautiful Lisa!!!!

That dog is so stinking cute. Our other dog has had ear infections for several years now. We have special made drops just for him. They actually cultured the bacteria to find out what it was and told it is a resistant strain. Cisco has spent the past two days licking both of Toby's ears until they are absolutely spotless.

Awwwwww!!!!! Casse does that for Boone (my parents dogs). He just lays there and lets her clean away...

Marian just came home from work, and brought me dark chocolate covered sea salt almonds.

I may as well just tape them to my arse and save them the trip down.

*giggle* Though they sound tasty!

I got mine a while back. It is a wonderfully put together book.

I couldn't afford to buy my own... I was hopeful that my parents were going to buy it for me and they did! I haven't gotten to look at it much yet though!!!!

nahhh, if you sold your camera gear and started fresh? You wouldn't get as much stuff, that's for sure.

True. I've made so many bad purchases; lenses I didn't need or were not very good, accessories that were unnecessary, programs that I never use. Lots of money wasted just because I didn't know. *sigh*

I think I have plantar fas...whatever that is called. My heals have been killing me, mostly in the morning and night. I just thought I would randomly complain.

me too, sweet zane. The PT really helps quickly, so do your exercises.

G'MAE, all. usually working by now, but off to the dentist again to replace the two temp crowns I swallowed in my sleep friday night.

Zane, the dropping your heel from a book or stair exercises you do to prepare for skiing are great, too. I guess it just depends on the exact cause of your pai, but that is the fastest relief for me.

hi Deb! have fun on your playdate.

Well, there's the alarm to tell me to get up and get dressed. I beat it by three hours. Maybe I can vacuum before I go. I hate waiting til the world gets up to do my chores. by then I am ready for bed again!

Have a lovely day, everyone.
