oh my gosh that's SO how it was here. I did everything for Kona. Worked hours on training him. (Dan did do the "scooping" and he took him to classes) but the majority of his training time...heck the majority of his life was spent with me. Dan was his play toy...something to gnaw on every time he came home in the evenings. So what does that dog go and do? Something totally uncharacteristic for a springer...he becomes a one person dog. He adores him. It's all about Dan. I'm fine as long as he's not around. K still minds me etc. but his heart and soul belong to Dan.

It's taken a year but I've learned to accept it. Teresa has my sympathies!

All the dogs throughout my life have been that way. Always bonding with someone else. Cricket is the first that has bonded with me. I guess it's why I don't like to be away from her for more than a day.:)

The septic tank at our business is full so we've had no bathrooms for the last 2 hours. Word is the pumper truck is on it's way. We have 4 businesses in our little industrial area all using the same septic. This is the third time since moving in September that this has happened. BLAH!

wow....and they make you stay? We had a water mains burst a couple of weeks ago, no water in the building, no water in the bathrooms, so for health and safety reasons, they shut the building and told everyone to go home.

Funny story for today....

So, tonight we have PT conferences so I decided to dress nicer and wear the new sweater dress I got at old navy. I decided to wear it with tights.

I was putting on my tights (which are appropriately names BTW) and Aidan was watching me and wigged out and started yelling at me that he didn't like them because they were too tight.

To be fair...they were brand new.

Quick check-in before we head North... We're headed to Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland. Knott's has free admission for any one who can give proof of military service and one guest. They do this every November to show their gratitude to veterans. We haven't been to Knott's in ten years, so we decided to go this month.
