Hi everyone! How are you all doing?

As usual, I've been too busy in the last days to stop by :-( But it should be better during the end of the week...

I just wanted to stop by and share with you an old pic that I've just found while browsing my hard drive. It was taken in 2004 with my old 3MP Coolpix ;-)a

Wow, what a beautiful Scene! I'd be a bit scared to be up there with the light fading like that... Unless you were standing near a parking lot or something? LOL

Thanks Kody. To be honest, I don't really remember. But we made it back safely...

I've been skiing last year on Christmas day. It was so nice that we stayed at the summit to watch the sunset. Skiing back down through the clouds at night was kinda fun :o

We never get scenery like that at the mountains in washington. we aren't high enough I think. our resorts are all around 5,000 ft or so.

Didier, lovely snow covered landscapes. You have me wishing and dreaming of great conditions like that. :D

When backcountry skiing, we used to do evening runs all the time, especially if the moon was fairly full. You could see not too bad, the only problem being definition was poor (because of the flat light), and some of the dips and bumps caught one by surprise, but that is part of what made it so much fun. :D

Moonlight rides on the horses are fun. When there is snow cover, light cloud cover with the moon behind the clouds, it makes it so bright out that you can see in the woods.

No such on this run... We did have fog + snow from the cannons in the face though. It made for very poor (or inexistant) visibility. But it was safe. WE helped one of the ski patrol guys who had put his skidoo on the side  So they knew we were there...

I've only done X-country under full moon. It was beautiful (in lappland)!
